We have linked up with Go-Tri, a project of British Triathlon to bring you an affordable triathlon at a great price. The distances are achievable for all, so ideal for beginners.

Registration: Collect number and swimming cap, show your bike and helmet are in working order. You will also be given a start time.
Rack Bike: Put your bike on the racking provided. Put cycle helmet and any other extras you may need (water, clothes, gloves, sunglasses etc) with the bike for transition 1. You will also need to leave your trainers here for transition 2.
Swim: Be at pool entrance 10 minutes before your start time. Your wave will be called through where you will be given a race briefing. Approx 30 seconds before you will be asked to enter the pool. Upon starting you will swim 200m (10 lengths). When finished leave your swimming cap at the pool side and exit through the main door to transition 1.
Transition 1 (T1): Exit through the main door, prepare for the ride. You must put your helmet on before removing your bike. Walk your bike to the mount line, here you get on and ride.
Bike: Follow the signs on the 10k route. There is two sections, where you will see marshals. The marshals are here for your safety, so you must follow their instructions. For the rest of the route you will follow directional signs. The bike is on open roads, so you will encounter other traffic. No drafting is allowed on this race (following another bike to avoid wind resistance).
Transition 2 (T2): Upon returning to the High School, you must dismount the bike before the dismount line. Return your bike to the rack before removing your helmet. When ready, leave transition for the run.
Run: Follow the signs around the route. The route is one lap of 2.5km around the school fields and local pavements.
Finish: Relax, you have done it. Take the time to support others still on the route. Remove all of your kit from the racking when it is safe to do so. The results will be published on the website shortly after the event.
